Stefan Quest a.k.a. Quest One MC is different.Different in the fact that -true to professionalism– he believes the show must go on. He is aware of the balance of lyrics versus music. He is the consummate live presenter who knows when to act,and when to shut up.
Performing and presenting on both pirate and commercial radio stations in The Netherlands, United Kingdom and Spain has helped him grow a loyal fan base. Winning the coveted Upcoming MC (2005) and MC of the Year Award (2006), he has been prominent in the drum’n bass, Hip Hop, R&B, house, Electro, trance and jazz scenes in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium and Spain for the past 9 years.
Quest One has presented and/or performed at a wide range of festivals like: Rebirth, FFWD, Dance Valley,Uitmarkt, Parade, ADE, Supa*sonic, DROP Breaks & Beats and Innovation, just to name a few. The crowds at nightclubs across Europe and South America bear witness to his MC skills as a crowd pleaser. In the Netherlands the Melkweg, Escape, Tivoli, Paradiso, Het Paard and Nighttown are just a few that know a show hosted by him cannot go wrong! He is also a resident at IchiOne NL, Amsterdamaged NL&UK, Haagenbaz, Utreg Massive, Bassdrive UK and more.He has been supporting the freedom of experimental music and its ability to crossover into other genres. He also managed to team up with artists like Erick E(house), StellaNutella (trance), SUWU3 (drum ‘n bass) and Bong Ra (break core), to place vocals on some ingenious tracks.
He is at present writing lyrics for some of the biggest upcoming drum ’n bass artists
in the UK and the Netherlands as well as Reggeaton artists in Puerto Rico, Curacao
and Peru.His vocal styles are boundless, (from Hip Hop to house,Electro to Breakbeat, R&B,
